About the Role
Carin Elle Mead Enterprises and Common Ground Construction is seeking a polished, organized, and customer-focused Client Specialist to join our growing team. This in-office position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with clients, has an eye for design, data entry and thrives in a fast-paced luxury retail interior design, construction environment.
As the first point of contact for many of our clients, you will provide exceptional customer service while supporting both Carin Elle Mead Enterprises. This role combines boutique sales, client relations, administrative support, and e-commerce fulfillment to create an outstanding experience from the first phone call through project completion.
Requirements
Client Experience
Welcome clients and guests with professionalism and warmth.
Assist customers with furniture, décor, lighting, rugs, artwork, and accessory selections.
Provide knowledgeable product recommendations based on client needs and design style.
Build lasting relationships through exceptional customer service.
Follow up with clients regarding product inquiries, orders, and appointments.
Administrative Support
Answer incoming phone calls and respond promptly to emails.
Data Entry
Schedule and confirm design consultations and showroom appointments.
Maintain organized client files and records.
Assist with preparing presentations, proposals, and product information.
Support the Executive Coordinator with daily administrative tasks.
Boutique & Showroom Operations
Maintain a beautiful, organized, and welcoming showroom environment.
Merchandise displays and refresh product presentations.
Receive, inspect, and check in incoming merchandise.
Price, tag, and organize inventory.
Coordinate with vendors regarding deliveries and product availability.
E-Commerce & Order Fulfillment
Pick, pack, and fulfill online orders accurately and efficiently.
Process shipments and prepare shipping documentation.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management.
Ensure orders are completed with attention to detail and luxury presentation standards.
Event Support
Assist the Executive Coordinator with planning and coordinating showroom events.
Prepare event materials and boutique displays.
Help manage vendor participation and guest registration.
Support setup and breakdown of events.
Qualifications
Previous experience in luxury retail, interior design, boutique sales, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
Minimum Education: Associates Degree
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and point-of-sale or inventory systems.
Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 30 pounds.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
Preferred Skills
Passion for interior design, furniture, home décor, and construction.
Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or Wix.
Knowledge of social media is a plus.
Experience with inventory management and order fulfillment.
Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
